Cody Wyoming

Just made it to Cody, Wyoming.. feeling great after a pizza each and ice cream... we climbed over dead indian pass today which has some interesting history and alooong 6% grade... when we left yellowstone yesterday we saw herds of buffalo.pronghorns.and the elusive black bear..we are now out of the cool and beautiful mountains and ecstatic to be back in the desert. looking forward to showers soon.

  1. Love that photo! Thinking about you seeing herds of buffalo, pronghorns and a black bear brings up the Indian child in me and a kind of longing.

  5. Go east young men! I see you are making real progress. It occured to Dad and I that you might arrive in New York when Vince is in Calif. That would be strange and a little ironic. We'll just see how fast you are going. Saw a cool show at Umbria Jazz on Sunday night - A percussion group from Kenya made up of former street kids playing instruments made from whatever recycled trash they could find- plastic barrels, pipes etc. You would have liked them and their spirit. Baci from your Mom.

  6. Nico, there is a Tram coming thru Redwood Falls July 28th. I heard about 1000 bikes riding from Montevideo, one of their stops is Redwood..We have a small fair, ending Aug 2nd, and then "Farmfest" starting Aug 4th for three days. This is where the farmers come and see equipment, food, plantings etc. People come from all over to see what's happening!!
Hope all is going well for you guys.. Sandy and Ron Mannz
